Dimple Me ;P

Brain scrutinizing :

Struck my head when a 'friend' tegur "sweet, got dimples" dlm FB chat. Erkk?? Pastuh free kena sound "Asal before this I tak pernah perasan eh? " Homai...mamat ni ada gak yang nk kena lepuk ni.

Yes, I am born with dimples each cheeks tapi yang sebelah kiri a lil bit hidden, yet the right one kind of obvious. Huhu~ The funny thing is, although I have dimples, my brother doesn't, only for my 3rd bro. If you ever wondered- what dimples are, why some people have them...I'll explain k.

Tau tak dimple ni or in Malay : lesung pipit (bukan lesung batu) okeh ..are actually birth defect. Sian tau..Ahaha. But in a good way I'm suppose.

Let's we find out why some people do have dimple.

Baca fakta dulu okeh. Heheh~

Having dimples on your cheeks provide cuteness to your face (Huu cute sgt) ;P.
It is a small natural depression or indentation of skin on the cheeks or the chin caused due to the flesh below. We can easily recognize dimples on some people face when they smile.

Dimples are a genetic trait. If one of the parents has dimples then there are 25-50% chances that the child will inherit the gene and if both the parents have dimples then the chances for inheriting the gene is 50-100%. You can easily find someone having dimples in your office, college or neighborhood. In many cultures dimples are considered very attractive.

No doubt dimples make your face cute and attractive but it is a kind of birth defect and it shows that the “malformations” are not always bad. The muscle is shorter in length in the people having dimples on their face whereas the size of muscle is normal in the people who do not have dimples. This is caused because of some fault in the development of subcutaneous connective tissue. Dimples can be on the other parts of body but they are not of much importance as of the face is may be because they are easily visible on the face.
Ha dah paam? Hee~
Well then, there also myth about having this dimple.
  • Beauty and Youth. Many people associate dimples with youth. People with dimples are often referred to as having a “baby face”. In the Western culture, dimples are considered to be an attractive feature on both women and men. In Shakespeare’s ‘Venus and Adonis’, Adonis, the God of beauty and desire in Greek mythology was described as having “in each cheek a pretty dimple”.
  • Good Luck and Prosperity. In some cultures, dimples are a sign of good luck and prosperity. Cleopatra is said to have had dimples. In the Indian culture, dimples that are present on a woman when they are smiling, is an indication that the woman is liked by her husband. Both the Asian and Greek cultures, value dimples as a sign of attractiveness and authenticity.

I'm explaining this to him, and guess what I got in respond " Enny, jangan sangat fakta boleh? I just puji you je. Haih " Ahahah~ Owh puji ke? Mekasih.. Ahahaha ~;P
