Makin hari nak dekat hari2 for 'special delivery' nih...makin suka dengan benda2 arts - the mood its doing the comeback. Ikutkan dah lama tinggal sejak2 busy dgn keje and new phase of life. Kalau dulu, asal ada art exhibition, theatre baru kluar, events dekat KLPAC....I will surely go for it.
But then sejak ada En.Hubby yang into photography, now yang sedang terjebak with toygraphy..my own essential art-part terasa macam dah jumpa geng balik (which is bila I ajak pegi galeri seni ke apa... he will try to adapt to it and did showed some excitement too). Pernah I brought friends yang takde minat sgt towards these kind of things, memang mendapat muka 'blur' and bosan je la. Okey, gila tak feel. Silap kroni! Hahahaha~
And coincidently, masa hari yang sama I ada antenatal class dekat hospital the other day, I found out that a sis yang I slalu followed for her illustrations, participated in this one art exhibition joined by another 2 illustrators too. Apa lagi, terus ajak En.Hubby yang setia melayan Cik Isteri yang sorang ni yang nak sgt drop by to see the exhibition. Plus the place tak jauh pun dari hospital yang I pegi kelas antenatal tu. Nampak tak sambil menyelam tertelan air. Hihihi~ :P
Kalau dah Seri Pacific ni nearby to PWTC, parking memang macam agak susah sikit. Bukak mata besar2 untuk nampak available slot for parking okeh. My advice, kalau xnk gaduh2 ngan En.Drebar awak, naik la LRT Star tu, the stop betul2 depan Hotel Seri Pacific tu. :D
Nampak tak excited terus posing dengan the first batch of illustrations of sis Emila Yusof and super duper kebetulan, she was there too untuk jaga gallery waktu2 weekend mcm ni. Masa tu dia tengah ralit melukis. Thinking of nak tegur, tapi nanti2 la...want to 'cuci mata' too see those cute illustrations by 3 local illustrators tu dulu.
Bila ntah En.Hubby sempat snap pic I yang tengah kusyuk habes belek tengok lukisan2 tu sume. Eeee comel sgt, ada yang for sales and ada yang personal collection. Kalau dah namanya personal collections, memang takleh beli la. For sure ada sentimental value on that. I just fall in love with the coloring!!
These are my favorite. Comel kan?? Tapi harga ribu2 jugak. Well art stuff never come cheap.Truely understandable. Price for art and creativity tu sangat2 subjektif. *angkat kening - tiba2 rasa nak melukis - dan2..hahahahah...jadi org lidi je karang Puan Enny oi. ;P
Puas pusing kiri kanan, akhirnya I drop by kat tempat Kak Emi tengah melukisto say HI!! (I kan memang ramah mesra orangnya..hikhik)` and Kak Emi sangat la friendly. Those in the pic if you rajin pusing2 kedai buku tawaf sampai habes, surely akan nampak these books somewhere. I was looking for the coloring books but seems time tu Kak Emi kata publisher belum send lagi. Tapi sebab nak jugak membeli kan...I did bought the The Lil Guardians - series of flash cards (yang I dah jadikan as penanda buku pun..ngee). Kak Emi even packed it in her own limited edition of folding reusable bag. Tersangat2 la practical! Thanks Kak Emi!! Love it so much!
And these!!! Were my most favorable collections, ikutkan hati rasa macam nak beli the whole set of it. One piece = RM600. Okey darab la sendiri.. Huk2... Best if I can decorate lil princess' room with this cuteness illustrations.
But for now, snapped pic with it pun okey la..letak dalam wish list nanti. hihihi...*hint2..;P
Lagipun I pun dah beli two of colouring books illustrated by Kak Emi from online store. Dah sampai pun, even En.Hubby siap belikan pencil color baru for me to start colouring. Once siap, boleh frame kan as illustration Kak Emi semua sangat adorable.
Let see if my skill in arts are still there...huhuhu~ ( kena tunggu siap color la....;P)
Owh lupa pulak, the exhibition still on going tau....up till 3rd of June, so drop by to see our talented local illustrator yang actually dah been recognized by other countries pun. Do show some support will ya!!
